Prior to becoming a full-time independent consultant, Michael Kraft served as Compliance and Regulatory Affairs Officer for Papa & Barkley, a large California cannabis manufacturing and distribution company. After that company was sold, he continued for another year as a wind-down consultant working on regulatory affairs/insurance/risk management as well as providing local boots on the ground in Humboldt County. As a consultant, Michael has helped multiple potential startups in cannabis businesses understand the web of licensing requirements that would apply to them.
