The California Fishermen’s Resiliency Association (CFRA) is a 501(c)(6) nonprofit Mutual Benefit Corporation founded in 2022. Representing Commercial Fishermen’s Associations across California, CFRA serves as a critical “point of contact” between fishermen, California regulatory agencies, and offshore, non-fishing industrial developers. CFRA’s mission is to minimize and mitigate disruptions to commercial fishing caused by ocean industrialization, advocating for a healthy ocean ecosystem, long-term resiliency for seafood harvesters, and sustainable coastal communities.
